Place is instagrammable. It's just right beside the highway but it gives you the calming ambience, the feeling of exclusivity. Food is rated at a normal cost, and taste just the usual. Overall, I'll definitely come back to try other menu. If you're looking for a place to chill away from the city, I recommend this one.

Nice garden set up and is constantly improving. The place is more comfortable and guest friendly from 3pm onwards. Noon and lunch time is ok but not very relaxing because it can get too hot, especially during summer months. Price of food is reasonable and the service is great.

[Edited my original review since I've come back after nearly seven years.] Been to Sulu since it was established up until I left Miagao. Mostly unchanged especially the vibe of the place, but some few modifications here and there. Surprised that my food arrived fast when I expected at least 20 minutes wait time. The gyuudon in Sulu Garden just tastes differently. And when in Miagao, one can never skip at least visiting Sulu Garden for a refreshing stopover. Glad to be back, and I hope I'd be back soon.

Sulu Garden is one of the most beautiful Japanese restaurants in the Miagao area. Very attractive with various decorations and pleasant, non-distracting music in the background. There is also a free fish foot massage and some models of Japanese history. The menu offers a wide range of dishes. That leaves nothing to be desired. The prices are high but fair. But overall we recommend this restaurant, it is really relaxing and pleasant.

Menu is not that large, but the variations of flavours on the menu is satisfying. Food is greatly prepared and the taste is a thumbs up. The scenery is quite appealing(a little touch up with the water every now and then wouldn't hurt) but the overall experience is quite great.

If you're looking for a beautiful and peaceful Japanese restaurant to enjoy a meal, hey, it's at Sulu Garden in Miagao! It's just across UP Visayas Miagao Campus, just off the main road and bridge. The setting is simply enchanting, with gently flowing water and lush gardens surrounding the restaurant. And the food is mouth-wateringly delicious, with a wide variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese favorites on the menu. They also have American and Filipino dishes. Best for a unique and romantic dining experience! Oh, and cosplay photoshoot --
